A perfect low cost upgrade for your Guitar Tone Circuit these Caps are not the 225 + - 10% but the superior 715 or 716 series with either straight or bent lead-outs and will give a smoother warmer tone when replacing the standard ceramic Caps.

The 0.033uf is an interesting value and works really well with a Tele, it gives you a great sweep on your tone control but is a high enough value to tame the Tele. You can use it with Humbuckers to give a slightly warmer tone in both bridge and neck and with a 0.022uf in the neck position for a different balance.

It also works really well in Strats and will tame a bright sounding instrument but not quite as much as a 0.047uf cap.
