Our Luxe Pre-Wired kits are assemble by us in the UK using the best components and wiring them in a vintage correct manner.

For our Strat kits we measure the value of each  CTS Total Vintage Tone “TVT” pot to create matched sets to give you an even response when rolling down your volume and tone controls and then carefully assemble the kit using CRL switches, Switchcraft sockets, vintage correct wire and of course Luxe Capacitors.

This kit has a Strat Phone Book Wax Impregnated Paper & Foil Capacitor which is hand wound on a 1932 Sprague Specialties Co. Winding Machine replica using exact vintage spec foil and paper film. They're hand soldered, triple hot vacuum impregnated with pure castor oil and pure beeswax and hand-wrapped.

Our Strat kits have the bottom tone control wired to the middle pickup but wired ready for the Bridge tone mod.  If not required you just trim the wire back, if required you just solder the wire to the 3rd lug, we supply instructions.

We remomend the use of a full aluminium pick guard shield to be vintage correct (select from the drop down menu).  We also supply a length of buss wire to ground the pots if you are not using a full aluminium pickguard shield and you can select to have us solder it before shipping, again from the drop down menu.
