We are pleased to be able to bring to you these wonderful handmade guitars by Jon Case. Case guitars have only been available by special order from Jon but for the first time you will now be able to acquire a Case guitar without the 8 month wait list.

Jon's background is as a graphic designer and this shows through in his re interpretation of this single cut model. Jon describes the body as "Chambered" but this does him a disservice, in fact what we have here is a body that started life as a solid piece of select mahogany (Jon selects each piece of wood for his guitars) which is then routed out in the way that a Collings I-35 is made, a solid maple cap is then glued to the top and carved.

Jon then makes the neck from another piece of mahogany that matches the piece used for the body meticulously carving and shaping the back before applying in this case an Ebony fingerboard with his signature wave inlays and perfectly finished 6100 frets.

And so the process goes on, one guitar at a time hour after hour, I once asked Jon how long it takes and he mentioned something like 100 hours plus after which he lost count. The reality is it takes as long as it takes and the result is a guitar that feels like an old friend with a flawless finish and attention to detail and superb articulate sounds combined with effortless playability and notes that swell and ring.
