Our Luxe Pre-Wired kits are assemble by us in the UK using the best components and wiring them in a vintage correct manner.

For our Grey Tiger kits we measure the value of each  CTS Total Vintage Tone “TVT” pot to create matched sets to give you an even response when rolling down your volume and tone controls and then carefully assemble the kit using vintage correct bus wire and of course Luxe Capacitors.

This kit has a matched set of Grey Tiger capacitors.  Each Grey Tiger cap is hand wound on our shopbuilt 1932 Sprague Specialties Co. Winding Machine replica using exact vintage spec foil and paper film. They're hand soldered and hot vacuum impregnated with pure castor oil and beeswax. The capacitor slug is fitted into a precise historic reproduction printed paper tube, sealed with epoxy, vacuum potted in beeswax, dipped in a vintage recipe wax coating and lightly aged. Also included is vintage style spaghetti tubing insulation on the leads.

• 4 TVT 500K CTS Split Shaft Matched Set Potentiometers Long shaft with 9.5mm (3/8") Shaft Diameter and 19.0mm Threaded Length or Short Shaft with 6.0mm Threaded Length.
