Orders shipped via courier , FEDEX, UPS etc.. will use the same process as before, that is, you will be contacted by the courier company for payment of duties.
Orders shipped by post to the USA will have duties paid before shipping. What this means is that when we receive your order we will calculate the Duty based on the country of origin of each item and then we will contact you with a payment link which will need to be paid before your order is processed.
The duties payable will vary across the different items that we stock but you should be able to estimate the amount.
Items made in the USA such as Callaham, Lollar, Lindy Fralin, Luxe will zero rated
Vintage Relic items are classified as UK (Currently 10%),
ABM are EU (currently 15%),
Gotoh Japan (currently 15%)
Kluson Japan (currently 15%)
CTS are Taiwan (currently 20%)
Good question, this is a constantly moving target but you can get an idea of the current tariff rates by country HERE (select maybe later). In addition there is a £1.00 admin fee leavied by Royal Mail.
