If you have Tuning Machines that have a two part screw bushing that when removed leave a 10mm hole then you can change them to Kluson Tuners with a little "weekend work".
Most current Gibsons have this type and also those with Grover Rotomatics.
You will need a set of Conversion Bushings with your tuners which are pretty much a drop in for the hole left. You will find a depression left when you take out the bushings that will not be fully covered by the new bushing. Just clean it up and remove any gunk and use a little T Cut to polish up and when the new bushing is in and its strung up it will not really be noticeable but the amount depends on your guitar and how cured the finish was when the tuners were fitted.
When you remove the tuners and offer up the conversion bushings you could find one of 4 options, you could find all 4 across the 6 tuners.
Most current Gibsons I have found fall into #1- #3
With #1 & #2 I like to put a tiny bit of super glue from the back just to hold in place but just a drop.
If in doubt take your guitar to a tech who can do this work as they will have done it many times before.
