1952-1956 Grey Tiger Matched Pair of Wax Impregnated .02mF Capacitors
Item number: LX11017
As found in Gibson guitars from 1952 through 1956 and 9 years in development, these Grey Tiger capacitors are brand new, made in the U.S.A. in the Luxe Radio workshop, to Vintage Specs.
Each Grey Tiger cap is hand wound on our shopbuilt 1932 Sprague Specialties Co. Winding Machine replica using exact vintage spec foil and paper film. They're hand soldered and hot vacuum impregnated with pure castor oil and beeswax. The capacitor slug is fitted into a precise historic reproduction printed paper tube, sealed with epoxy, vacuum potted in beeswax, dipped in a vintage recipe wax coating and lightly aged. Also included is vintage style spaghetti tubing insulation on the leads.
These parts are fresh from the time machine and authentic inside AND out.
In the Kit:
One Matched Pair (2) Luxe .02uF Grey Tiger Capacitors
Vintage Correct Wiring Diagrams.
