CAB (Cellulose Acetate Butyrate) was the material that knobs were made from back in the day and our CAB knobs have a slight yellowing, embossed numbers hand filled with tinted white pigment and are hand polished with rolled edges. 

These knobs are moulded on the inside with 24 splines for USA CTS style pots which with the split you can see 20 splines.

CAB has a more clinging feel compared to the more slippery feel of modern acrylic.
