Lindy Fralin are one of the premier makers of custom wound guitar pickups.  These Blues Special Tele pickups are a great upgrade to any Tele and deliver killer tone. 

The Hybrid Stagger is ideal for a fingerboard radius of 10"+

Wound with a 5% overwind from the Stock Teles, Blues Specials feature a punchy, warm tone that tames the harsh top-end from most Telecasters and helps you hear every nuance in your playing.

Both pickups feature black fibreboard coil forms, alnico V magnets and Fralin's world class hand craftsmanship. The Blues Special bridge pickup features staggered alnico magnets, polynylon magnet wire, black waxed string coil wrapping, careful wax potting for reduction of microphonics, copper clad steel bottom plate and cloth covered output leads. 

Optional 3rd Wire

For Tele neck pickups we offer a 3rd Wire Option (cover ground) that allows you to run a set of Telecaster replacement pickups in series operation with a 4-way switch—a common mod for customers seeking more versatility than a 3-way switch provides. A 3rd wire allows your pickup to function properly in either series or parallel mode and won't affect the tone in normal operation.
