Made for us by Jupiter Condenser, paper in oil construction is one of the original and most reliable oil types.
These are a perfect size for guitar wiring as you can see from our many pre-wired kits and fit nicely into Strats, Teles, Les Pauls, SG's etc. The black band denotes the ground side though this is not relevant for guitar wiring only for amps.
Jupiter uses the finest quality highly refined USP-grade mineral oils, processed under a deep vacuum for several days. Hermetic sealing keeps oil from leaking out and provides protection from moisture to ensure long life. Glass to metal end seals are soldered in tin-plated brass tubes to form leak-tight joints. Lead outs are tin plated oxygen free copper for easy soldering.
Jupiter Aluminum Foil capacitors are built to Mil-Spec standards yet developed and refined for beautiful sound.
These are much more reliable than NOS units, made by one of the top capacitor makers in the USA, they really do not get much better than this.
