Our kits are hand assembled buy us in the UK to improve your tone! We take great pride in using the best components that work and sound better than the stock electronics often found in your guitar. We start by sorting through the already great CTS "CG" pots to create matched sets to give you an even response when rolling down your volume and tone controls. We then fit a Jupiter Yellow Vintage Tone Capacitor.
This is a prewired harness for USA Gibson Les Paul's. For guitars with metric sized pots you may need to enlarge the holes for the higher quality US spec electronics to fit and also you may need US Spec knobs.
What is Balanced Tone:
We like to wire this type of harnes with a .01uf capacitor in the neck position and a 0.02uf in the bridge position because we find that a less aggressive tone control on the neck pickup offers an improved balance of the tone controls. If you prefer the standard 0.02uf capacitors in both positions just select this from the drop down menu below.
