The Imperial® Humbucker is our take on the original 1950s P.A.F. pickup. We’ve designed the Imperial® to draw from the long-revered qualities of the original P.A.F.s while improving on their frequency balance and giving a slight boost to the bridge pickup’s output.

Pickup Choises:

Ideal for HSS builds and upgrades, Lollar suggest the Imperial Low Wind with Blonde neck and middle and Standard Imperial with Sixty Four neck and middle.

F or G Spaced Humbucker:

If you have a Fender bridge with string spacing of 2 7/32" - 56.4mm then you should select the F Spaced humbucker (53mm poles) but if you have 2 1/16" - 52.4mm (some Mexican or other or if you have or fit a Callaham Vintage Narrow bridge) then you should select G Spaced (50mm poles) humbucker.
