Our Pre-Wired pickguards are individually assembled to your specification and are made with CTS “CG” or select “CGS” SupraPot potentiometers CRL switches, Switchcraft sockets, full aluminium shield plate, Gavitt vintage stranded wire and supplied with a set of 11 stainless steel pickguard screws.
Our preferred HSS wiring is Master Volume and 2 Tone controls like a normal Strat. The 500K volume has resistors fitted so that the single coil pickups see 250K. If you want one of the other HSS wiring options Two Volume Master Tone or 2 Vol + Coil Split Master Tone please contact us regarding suitability with your pickup choice.
From the drop-down menus you can choose your pickups; you can then upgrade the volume to a CTS "CGS" SupraPot. Then choose any of the capacitors listed, if you choose the Luxe 52-58, we use black cloth wire as that is how it was done during that period. Next select the tone control configurations or if you want the Blend Control and Master Tone option. Go on to choose the colour of the covers, knobs and tips and lastly if you want the '62 or the '64 hole pattern.
Pickup Choices:
Lollar suggest the Imperial Low Wind with Blonde neck and middle and Standard Imperial with Sixty Four neck and middle.
F or G Spaced Humbucker:
If you have a Fender bridge with string spacing of 2 7/32" - 56.4mm then you should select the F Spaced humbucker (53mm poles) but if you have 2 1/16" - 52.4mm (some Mexican or other or if you have or fit a Callaham Vintage Narrow bridge) then you should select G Spaced (50mm poles) humbucker.
Solderless Connection:
You can add our Solderless Connection System from the drop down below. There are two options, Quick Release and Full Quick Release, which includes the tremolo claw, you can see these in the pictures. We solder the high-quality machined and gold-plated micro connectors which are small enough to pass through the hole from the socket cavity and into the main control cavity.
